Transition during conflict
During the conflict of World War II, souls found their way to the Spirit Realms. Some instantaneously, other had endured hardships of both physical and mental torture, seeking endurance of capabilities beyond the physical form and complexities of the kind that were too catastrophic to endure. Chaos you would think; it was not. On the contrary, it was organised, cloaked in peace, and given the massive transition, it had to be planed for, but it is, and always has been. Many conscripted military who were not truly committed to the cause of the Government of the day and resented what they regarded as the interruption of their chosen way of life, interacted with other like-minded souls and small groups formed. Some had made friends who they felt drawn to try to protect in some way and met as they in their turn returned to the Spirit Realms. Men missed their families, regretting the childhood years they could have fathered to their children. Some, spent lengthy terms in adjustment environments and others were able to return to the environment from which they had transcended, teachers, carpenters, doctors etc. Some travelled to geographical locations where they had been made welcome as military e.g. France, Greece etc. Others travelled with comrades to their homeland where relatives who had transcended before them, made them welcome. Some never returned to their original country until they were sought out to meet a loved one who had returned to the Spirit Realms.
